MOJO X WCF CREATE ETHICALLY SOURCED, LUXURY HOT CHOCOLATE

Hot chocolate is even better when it’s ethically sourced, organic, and vegan.

In collaboration with Mojo, we’ve created a pure, luxury-blend hot chocolate. Adding only what matters - cocoa powder and sugar, our new hot chocolate is in all Mojo stores around New Zealand. Our pure cocoa comes from the Dominican Republic and Peru, and our organic cane sugar from Paraguay, ensuring we deliver a high-quality hot chocolate experience.

So far, Mojo has sold more than 15,000 hot chocolates a month since its launch into stores in late 2020.

Matt Williams, WCF’s General Manager, is excited to collaborate with Mojo - an innovative, Kiwi partner who also believes in local, high quality, ethical products.

Mojo wanted something extra special. The key ingredient is the exclusive high-fat cocoa powder, a creamy blend we specially sourced for this hot chocolate.  The cocoa powder has double the fat content of most regular cocoa powder in NZ, resulting in a hot chocolate with a very creamy, luxurious flavour and texture.

“Mojo Was One Of The First Food Service Businesses To Sell Our 25g Single Serve Chocolate Bars And Our Relationship Has Grown From There. We Love How Local Businesses Are Collaborating And Supporting Each Other To Get Through The Challenging Environment And Prosper Into The Future. It’s Very Heartening For Everyone, And A Great Blueprint For The Future,” Says Matt Williams.

Katy Ellis, Managing Director, Mojo Coffee NZ, says working with WCF has been an inspiring experience.

“Quality aside, we love working with an ethical and traceable chocolate product from WCF, a likeminded kiwi business eager to explore new and exciting opportunities.

“Keeping up with our quality and ethically sourced beliefs, we worked together to develop a pure drinking chocolate – agreeing that 40% cacao would best suit our customers.   We see the relationship between WCF and Mojo as a long term one, so Mojo customers can explore NZ specialty chocolate as well as speciality coffee,” says Katy Ellis.
